This fast-paced position will interact with customers and various internal departments daily providing exceptional support through a solution-oriented approach to orders, inquires, and issues. Responsible for the maintenance and development of strong relationships; exhibits open and timely communication, expediency in order fulfillment, flexibility and teamwork.

Responsibilities:
- Accurate on-line entry of customer orders via phone, email, and fax.
- Prompt completion of shipping orders; accurate communication to the Shipping Department for order fulfillment.
- Maintain an open and cooperative relationship with customers and team members at every level of the organization.
- Educate and provide the latest information to customers on all Allegro products.
- Accurate and efficient handling of customers’ questions, returns, and credit adjustments.
- Contact customers via email and outbound calls in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensures all customers receive the attention needed including proper routing of their call and appropriate follow-up.
- Provides information to potential new customers – works closely with sales for appropriate actions.
- Exhibits flexibility, patience, teamwork, motivation and an upbeat attitude toward all customers and changes in the day-to-day operation of the business.
- Act as the customers advocate by providing exceptional service with every encounter.
- Flexibility to cover vacations and holidays as requested.
Qualifications:
Previous customer service and computer entry experience in a busy office environment preferably where email and phone are the primary tools for communication. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, aptitude for working with numbers, disciplined focus on detail and the ability to react professionally under pressure. Requires the ability to analyze situations, troubleshoot problems and implement solutions. Computer proficiency to maneuver and navigate between numerous screens and programs – proficiency in data entry, experience with EDI (electronic data interchange) and working knowledge of Window’s based programs, Word and Excel a plus.
